Head Equipment Manager
Oshawa Generals

To say the least the past year has been frustrating and disappointing for all of us in the game of hockey. Athletic Therapists and Equipment Managers give so much time to the game for the love of their job. With so much uncertainty this past year, waiting for the call to start a season has been painful. For us in the OHL we have seen different RTP Protocols with potential start dates come and go.

The impact of this pandemic has touched all of us. Many of our peers have left their positions. Friends and staff within our organizations have left or moved on to different career paths. And not to forget most importantly many of our family members who loved working in the game of Hockey were also affected.

I can’t wait for the day when I come in and turn all the lights on again and have the room filled with players!

Hopefully soon this will be behind us so we can somewhat get back to normal. In the meantime, we can only wish each other the best of health and happiness. Stay Safe!!
