Darren Granger is in his 13th season as Head Equipment Manager with the Los Angeles Kings and a member of both of the Kings Stanley Cup Championship teams in 2012 and 2014. Prior to the Kings, he spent 13 seasons as the Assistant Equipment Manager with the Vancouver Canucks. In 2004, he received the Larry Ashley Award from the British Columbia Hockey Hall of Fame for dedication and spirit toward the game of hockey. Internationally, he has represented Canada multiple times. Most recently as a member of Team Canada that captured the 2016 World Cup of Hockey and capturing a gold-medal at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. He has also represented Team Canada at the 2010, 2008, 2006 and 1999 World Championships, and the 1992 World Junior Championship. Darren has worked 3 NHL All Star games in 2017, 2015 and 1998. Prior to joining the Canucks, the Brandon, Manitoba-born Granger worked for five years as a Trainer for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League. Darren lives in Redondo Beach with his wife, Cathryn, their daughter, Sadie, and their son, Chase.
